A beginner-friendly introduction to resistance bands - build strength, wake up under-used muscles and feel more confident heading into 2026.

If you’re already lifting heavy at the gym, this probably isn’t for you - although resistance bands can still be useful for targeting smaller stabilising muscles, improving control and adding variety alongside heavier lifting.

What You’ll Need
​
A set of resistance bands with different strengths (light → heavy).
We’ll start with a light band for a gentle introduction in this challenge and the nature of the short videos.

The 6 Day Plan
DAY 1: Band wrist form + light upper body (back + side body)
DAY 2: Build on Day 1 (shoulders + upper back)
DAY 3: Legs + biceps
DAY 4: Add a new movement (shoulders/back/arms)
DAY 5: Shoulders + hips
DAY 6: Legs (lower-body strength)​
