Food is something we consume everyday but with so much food advice out there it can be confusing and overwhelming. There’s no such thing as a one size fits all diet - and Ayurveda (the sister science to yoga) offers a time-tested personalised approach to food that will help you feel your best.

Food for Health Workshop

Sunday 16th July, 2:30-5pm at Hilton Village Hall (DE65 5GH)

Join Sam for this engaging and interactive 2.5 hour workshop where we will explore:

~ Why we eat

~ An intro to the holistic Ayurveda perspective on food

~ Taste foods that represent the 6 tastes of Ayurveda

~ An overview of which foods can support different health goals such as weight loss, lower inflammation or soothe anxiety

~ The link between stress and digestion

~ Useful tips, practices and recipes

~ A short yoga practice to boost digestion, suitable for beginners

Having previously suffered with chronic digestive problems and living on restricted diets for a number of years, the topic of food and digestion is close to my heart.

I will be combining my experience as an Ayurveda health coach, therapeutic yoga teacher and time working in education designing lessons and courses to bring you this interactive workshop.

If you want a workshop about calorie counting this isn’t it - this approach is based on nourishing the body and mind, not numbers on a packet.
