Charity Pyjama Week 2022

Children’s Hospital Pyjamas’ is a yearly appeal and became a registered Charity in 2019 on its 10th Anniversary by founder Charmaine Green after her own experience with her daughter in hospital over Christmas.

In aid of supporting ‘Children’s Hospital Pyjamas’ I thought it would be fun to dance or roll out our mats in our pyjamas. Imagine relaxation in pyjamas, grab a blanket and chill at the end of a yoga class ;) Perfect!

I invite you to join me and wear your pyjamas for any Zumba & Yoga classes w/c 14th November!

Let’s help by donating some new pyjamas for boys and girls aged new-born to 18 to Royal Derby Children's Hospital and the Children's Ward at Queen's Hospital Burton. The hospitals then gift the pyjamas at Christmas to EVERY child, who is poorly, no matter their illness/injury. This means that every child has new pyjamas to wear for when Father Christmas visits on Christmas Eve and make their hospital visit a little more comfortable. In addition, Pyjamas are also being donated at Derby's Blue Mountains Children's Care Homes this year.

How & where can we donate?

  • Donate new pyjamas to Sam Hicklin via Etwall Post Office or deliver directly to 30 The Bancroft, Etwall, Derbyshire, DE65 6NE by 31st November

  • Or make a donation to the BB Charity page by 31st November and Sam Hicklin shall purchase the pyjamas on our behalf

***Please donate non-fleecy pyjamas as fleece can be too warm for some children depending on their treatment***

Children’s Hospital Pyjamas has given permission for Samantha Hicklin (Area Coordinator) for Royal Derby Hospital to fundraise on their behalf.

Please find our Facebook Page ‘Children’s Hospital Pyjamas’ for pictures of previous year’s appeals.
